BIG SPRING, TX — During Tuesday’s meeting of the Big Spring City Council, several public hearings will be held for consideration and possible action concerning abatement of public nuisances at multiple properties in Big Spring. Those properties are as follows:

610 E. 12th St. – Owner: Ruth Soledad Cano
1006 E. 12th St. – Owner: Rhett Daylon Dedmon
1217 Lindberg – Owner: Missy Puga
2802 Apache – Owner: Kaycie Saucedo
209 N. Johnson St. – Owner: Cayetano Resendez Saldivar
405 Donley – Owner: Johnny Rudda
1100 N. Gregg St. – Owner: Powerhouse Church of God in Christ
2705 Ann Dr. – Owner: Thomas Oliver Bradberry
604 NE 10th – Owner: The Estate of Addie Oliver
Public Hearings will also be held concerning the annual budget for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 and on the proposed tax rate for Year 2022.
Councilmembers will also take a final vote on the repeal of City Council Resolution 003-2013 which had set the goal of ending the euthanization of homeless pets. During the last meeting, the first reading to repeal this resolution passed with a 6-1 vote with Troy Tompkins, District 5 Councilman voting against.
