BIG SPRING, TX — Big Spring Municipal Judge Timothy Green was recognized for his 22 years of service to the City of Big Spring during his retirement party at the Howard County Courthouse on Wednesday afternoon.
When asked how he felt about celebrating his retirement, Judge Green said seeing everyone he’s worked with in the past has been a blessing.
Judge Green began working for the City of Big Spring at the age of 25. He stated that he had never had the same day during his career and it made time fly. He’ll continue to serve until Sept 1st or until he’s replaced.
Judge Green told KBest News he plans to take a few months to become adjusted to retirement but intends to apply to St. Mary’s School of Law which offers courses online. If that doesn’t work out, he’s interested in possibly going into politics.
