BIG SPRING, TX — Last week, the Goode Selfie Room, Big Spring’s first interactive selfie studio, opened its doors to the public. Admission includes access to over 20 themes and backgrounds where visitors can take pictures and Tik Tok videos for one hour.
Owner Amanda Goode told KBest News that visitors can attend as they are or dress up, just have fun.
“It’s a fun place. We have different themes, so if you want to be dressed up – dress up. We had a girl that came in and it was her 17th birthday. She was a senior in high school, she walked in with 7 or 8 different outfits, heels, [and] jewelry – girl, she was ready! Her pictures spoke for it. She looked amazing!” said Goode.
When asked how the selfie studio compares to a regular photo session with a photographer, Goode stated that in addition to the multiple backgrounds available for use, the facility is also climate controlled. Plus, you can get more photos within the hour than you could with a photographer in a 20-30 minute photo session.
Photographers are welcome to use the Goode Selfie Room for their clients, but everyone who visits will have to pay for admission at the door. Professional photography equipment is allowed, but you must notify the studio in advance. The facility is available for all ages and pets are allowed if notified in advance.
Right now visitors can experience Goode Selfie Room for a discounted price. Booking can be done online at GoodeSelfieRoom.com and can also be done at the door if space is available.
